What is Disc Golf?

Disc golf is a fast-growing outdoor sport where players throw flying discs toward a metal basket, aiming to complete each hole in the fewest throws possible. It’s a mix of golf’s strategy and frisbee’s fun — and it’s played by millions worldwide.

Disc Golf in Sarasota

Sarasota has been home to disc golf since the early 2000s, when local players began hosting informal rounds at neighborhood parks. Over the years, courses have been built at North Water Tower Park and Lakeview Park, introducing thousands of new players to the game.

Our organization was created in 2024 to continue this growth — by designing new courses, improving existing layouts, and connecting with the community through events, clinics, and outreach.
